Settings View: View/Edit Settings for blog

Description

This view allows you to edit settings for your blog. Settings are separated in 7 parts. Each settings effect some features.

Controls - 1) BASIC Settings

Title
Title of your blog, appear in blog header,title tag,RDF etc.
Short Description
Brief description for blog, appear in blog header,title tag,RDF etc.
Authors profile
Brofile for blog author (not in use).
Item count for modules
A value to be used in some modules, like "Recent entries","Recent comments" as a count of item repetition.
Day count for top page
A value to be used in blog's index page - entry count to be shown.
Blog URL
URL string to be exposed blog's URL.
PING servers
Server URLs to send PING request. Put every URL in Each line.

Controls - 2) Character codes

Char-code
Encode setting for blog, appear in blog and management interface. If you want to change entries/comments/trackbacks charcode,check "Change charcode",
Char-code for sending Trackback
Encode setting for trackback.

Controls - 3) Entry

Allowed tag for entry
Allowed HTML tag for entry. By default, following tags are allowed (b,a,i,img,pre,blockquote,br,p,h3,ul,li,br). Add tag name if you want. Othres will be striped.
Default format
Default format for entry body/extend.
Fields to hide
Setting for hiding field. Check field name if you want to hide.
Textfield width
Setting for textfield width, in entry add/edit.
Textarea width
Setting for textfarea width, in entry add/edit.
Textarea height
Setting for textfarea height, in entry add/edit.

Controls - 4) Comment,TrackBack

Allowed tag for comment
Allowed HTML tag for comment. By default, following tags are allowed (b,a,i,img,pre,blockquote,br,p,h3,ul,li,br). Add tag name if you want. Othres will be striped.
Require name for comment
When this setting is checked, input for comments always require "name". Empty name causes error.
Name for Anonymous
String for empty "name" on comment.
Require email for comment
When this setting is checked, input for comments always require "email". Empty email causes error.
Moderate comment
When this setting is checked, comments should be moderated. Posted comments won't be shown immediately, these will be shown after moderation.
Moderate trackback
When this setting is checked, trackbacks should be moderated. Posted trackbacks won't be shown immediately, these will be shown after moderation.

Controls - 5) Blog client Settings

Char code for blog client
Char code setting for blog client. Some client expect UTF-8 on XML-RPC request/response.
Default category for entry from blog client
Default category for entry from blog client. Some blog client implement only "Blogger API", and don't post entry with category.
