The campaign work of TJN Nordic is directed by a steering group. The group is open for anyone willing to commit to our values and concrete work for tax justice. To contact or join steering group, please visit Contact us. Members of the Steering Group (11.2.2007):Otto Bruun Sigrid Klæboe Jacobsen Hi! I have been involved in tax justice issues in Attac, and now want to contribute in making a strong and broad network in the Nordic countries. I have a MSc. in power electronics from the Norwegian Univiersity of Science and Technology, and am currently working for a consultancy firm on project management in Oslo. I am the contact person for the Norwegian part of the network. Don’t hesitate to send me an email if you have questions about the network! Marte Nilsen Jorma Penttinen Taxes gained importance in my activities since the foundation of Attac Finland in 2001. I was involved in Attac’s tax group for some years and continued that work later in TJN. Until 2007 I was the member of TJN’s international board. I’ve written articles especially on tax evasion. By profession, I’m a translator, interpreter and free lance journalist. Johan Rootzen Johan Sanne Ville-Pekka Sorsa Ville-Pekka is a postgraduate student and works as junior lecturer in Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy in University of Jyväskylä. Whereas his dissertation focuses on pension fund capitalism, his other research interests include general social theory of taxation and institutional development of tax policy regimes. Matti Ylönen I've participated in the Tax Justice Network Finland, and now the NTJN. I completed my political science master's thesis in 2006. The topic was how transnational corporations' ability to choose and even tailor the regulations and taxes imposed on them affect state sovereignty. I've been working for half a year as a research assistant with issues related to development and global social policy. At the steering group I'll do various things as needed. If you find that something is not working in this website, it's me you should contact... I'm also the Finnish contact person of the network. Kajsa Åkerström I'm 25 years old, and currently working at the office for Attac Sweden at solidaritetshuset in Stockholm. I have been active in Attac since 2001 and I've been in the board for Attac Sweden for two years. I have been working with different issues in Attac, but one important topic for me is debt cancellation, and that was also the subject for my master thesis that I wrote in political science. In the steering group I will be responsible for the funding applications. Feel welcome to contact me: kajsa [at] attac.se |
